Clubhouse Development

Winter 2015

You'll see a video of ongoing work to refurbish the clubhouse in this blog post.

Spring 2015

The changing rooms are now complete, and work has begun on the clubhouse but more funds are needed to complete the work.

Winter 2014

As you know, we were successful in our funding bids, which has resulted in a brand new changing room building. This is complete apart from some finishing touches, which the contractor will finalise in the next couple of weeks.

Feedback from club members has been very positive and we will now press ahead with the refurbishment of the club house during the close season, with the intention to complete this by the beginning of next season.

This will provide a much larger modern social area with improved bar and kitchen facilities, which will not only be much more welcoming on match days, but will also enable us to plan and hold more social events at the club. We hope to begin the first phase in March, with a new verandah and entrance doors, and complete this before the start of the new season.

The progress so far has been made possible by funding from Sport England and Kent County Council, with a further grant from BIFFA in the process of being finalised.

However, we still need to raise funds ourselves to finish the project and ensure that our new facilities are maintained to these high standards in the future. Therefore, your support of the 100 Club and the social events is very valuable.
